Burton Farmhouse & Garden Room Restaurant

A working dairy and sheep farm in the valley running towards Hope Cove, 3 miles from the famous sailing haunt of Salcombe.
Originally owned by the Earl of Devonshire, Burton Farm is a 325 acre farm situated in South Huish valley with a dairy herd and two flocks of pedigree sheep.
We have rooms for special occassions such as honeymoons, anniversaries, etc., including spa bath and corner bath. We can also cater for parties and other special events in our Garden Room Restaurant.
You will have a choice of a family, double twin or single bed accommodatio, all en-suite, tastefully decorated and centrally heated.
For your comfort and convenience we provide colour TV, tea & coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, shoe cleaning kit and electric blankets. For a small charge we can provide a laundry and ironing service.
The farmhouse is a non-smoking zone and pets are permitted but not in the house - a kennel is available.
We have a ground floor room equipped for disabled persons with easy wheelchair access.
Tasty traditional home cooking with fresh quality produce. Fully licensed, The Garden Room offers a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Large and small functions can be catered for. Open to non residents. Bookings essential.
Our gardens are for everyone's enjoyment, either relaxing or playing games. Alternatively, table tennis, pool or indoor games can be played in the games room. Children love the play area with swings, slides and much more.
On warm summer evenings enjoy an informal drink and barbeque in the garden with fellow guests.
